Is Your Brain Healthy?
Are you tired of traditional word searches and crosswords? Why not take on a new challenge and explore different types of puzzles? Linda Mitchell, known as the Penny Press Puzzle Lady, will teach you how to solve several literacy-based puzzles from the Penny Press Variety Puzzles magazine. Research indicates that solving puzzles is an excellent way to keep your mind agile and reduce the risk of diseases such as Alzheimer’s and dementia. Call Linda Mitchell at (618) 558-8527 for more information.
Here's what attendees had to say about the classes.
"My wife and I are really enjoying Linda’s puzzle class. These puzzles are hard but really fun. And they keep your brain in shape, not to mention all the new words I’m learning.” Bob and Jan
"May I bring my husband to our next puzzle club meeting? He's a little nervous, but I've told him how much I'm enjoying it. He says he'd like to give it a try." Paula
