Unite for Literacy and the Metro East Literacy Project have teamed up to write and/or narrate digital children's books.
Unite for Literacy gives "free access to more than 400 original picture books, one fourth of them written in Spanish. The digital books provide audio narrations in more than 40 languages, spoken by native speakers in warm, expressive voices. The languages of narration include indigenous and endangered languages along with languages most widely spoken in the US." Linda Mitchell, executive director of the Metro East Literacy Project, is proud to partner with Unite for Literacy to write and/or narrate several of the books. Parents and young children can enjoy reading these books together. Just click the title to view the book. Simply copy the link to share the book with others.
